Toi was dragged away to the underground cell where necessary setup for the ceremony was already prepared, and Ryui was isolated until it was clear that he was "calm". Being separated from Toi, Ryui felt nothing but guilt because Toi had unintentionally taken his place. It was supposed to be Ryui, it was supposed to be him. Why did no one listen? Now they must be preparing Toi for torture. Ryui felt sick to his stomach just thinking about it. He didn't want Toi to suffer. It was supposed to be him feeling that suffering instead, not his precious twin brother. Perhaps, being ten years old and known swapping tricksters, it was a bit hard to believe.
