Summary
She stops at a stall that looks promising. She recognizes some of the items from watching Grian and Scar building earlier. She moves towards the stall, hoping to get a closer look, when someone rushes in front of her. She tries to stop but trips, falling into them and taking them both crashing to the ground.
"Hey watch where you're going you idiot!" Yells the guy she fell into, angrily. As if he wasn't the one who had rushed in front of her? Lizzie scoffs.
Or; Lizzie and Joel, literally fall into each other in a market

Lizzie shrieked — inhuman and loud compared to the now broken silence — as she fell backward, ankle burning as claws dug into it. Her wings flared out as she was dragged below the surface, liquid making its home in her lungs. She thrashed around, panicked and afraid as her wings grew heavier and heavier and /heavier/.
Humming filled her ears, prompting her auricle wings to try and cover them, only making it so far before they were grabbed and wrenched backwards. The noise was terrifying yet majestic, addicting but /harmful/.

But land was dangerous, and so were humans, as Pearl told her after decorating her hair with pretty trinkets. But she had a head injury from the attack, as Jimmy told her when she awoke to him beside her. But she was a purebred Siren, as Grian told her when he finished his daily territory patrols.
Besides, she was happy.

TLDR/OR; Lizzie, who is an Avianborn, spends her days on a beach staring at the sky. However, one day changes everything when she gets lured into the water, and taken away from her home.

On the ship itself, Jimmy could see people moving around the decks. Some of them appeared to just be laughing and talking, some cleaning and working the ship. But there was one who caught Jimmy’s eye.
He was standing at the top of the ship in the crows nest. His blonde hair shone in the sunlight. He had loose fitting black pants, held up by a small red belt with a steel buckle. He wore a simple white shirt, the bottom tucked into his pants, and a red and orange scarf that was currently hanging untied around his neck.
From this distance, Jimmy can’t hear him, but he can see him laughing and then shouting something towards the ship below. Jimmy’s cheeks flushed and he swiftly ducked his head back under the water.
Or; Jimmy’s a siren, Tango’s a pirate, they meet and it’s gay and fluffy from there.

The song doesn't last much longer, but it finishes off with a climactic solo that has Ariana raising her mic above her head in a beautifully dramatized fashion.
And, of course, the crowd loved it. They scream their love to Ariana and Nova, throwing flowers and little notes for each of the wonderful stars.
The two smile and wave at the audience, blowing kisses and making hearts with their fingers before disappearing once again backstage.
Scar blinks himself out of whatever daze he had fallen into.
He thinks he needs to find Ariana before he leaves tonight.
Or, Scar gets dragged into watching Ariana Griande perform, and he is smitten.

He wanted to feel bad, truly. To release this poor creature that he never even knew existed.
He did feel guilty.
He stood there, dumbfounded, contemplating what to do next. His mind spun in a thousand different directions.
But Grian was never an empath, it seemed. Business was business. And a catch like this was worth big money.

(A spin off of “Finding Home In The Waves”, I would recommend reading that first but if you don’t and end up enjoying what I wrote, please go check that out after) *very overly dramatic narrating voice* Jimmy was alone in the world. An outcast. His ugly (shut up Jimmy you are beautiful) brown scales getting him rejected by everyone. Until- *gasp* a leviathan level sea beast that eats humans and mermaids as its entire diet? Perfect for a found family! And would you look at that they don’t even eat mermaids! What could possibly go wrong? :D
