Partner or even boyfriend seemed too serious, hook-up too casual. They were something, and Porter seemed happy with whatever it was. Or alright with it, at least. His brother was less forthcoming with Lumber about whatever he had going on with Electra than he was about most things. But Electra didn't seem to be doing him any harm, so ultimately he didn't need to know; it wasn't his place to judge whose bed Porter was in or why. Just like it wasn't his place to divulge what he knew, if Porter hadn't told Electra about his past.

Freight were known to be close, just like family even if they came from different yards, it was strange, almost unheard of for one of them not to be attached at the hip with the others, but Porter couldn’t help it, he wanted to be as close with them as they were with each other…but he couldn’t.
He hated it when Lumber would try and wrap an arm around his shoulders, or when Slick would jump out at him, or even when Hydra wanted a high-five, it just got too much sometimes.
