Fanfiction should primarily focus on worldbuilding rather than narrative or characterisation. /r/teslore is centred on lore rather than fanfiction, so only fan-written texts with a clear aim to flesh out the world of The Elder Scrolls should be posted.
So, my Apocrypha texts are like texts you'd find in the Elder Scrolls.

Summary
Upon her return from service in the Three Banners War, Alinori noblewoman Elanya 'cal Mirrenara must also return to the life her experiences as a Queen's Eye have severed her so completely from. Worst yet, her parents have arranged her a surprise to celebrate her coming home; she's been betrothed to Lanaren, her dearest friend from childhood. Perhaps she can force herself back into the box she'd grown up in...
Or perhaps the box needs to burn to the ground for it all to be put right again. After all, the spark that sets the flame creeps ever-closer as a stranger sails to Summerset's shores in search of her missing daughter and the threads that weave together Lanaren's life unravel before his eyes.

Summary
Childhood flashback one-shot story about Iriel, the protagonist of my Morrowind fic, How to Disappear Completely.
Inspired by some of the Alinor lorestuff datamined out of unreleased TES Online content by ladynerevar on tumblr, such as:
“Waystones are actually crafted crystal vials that are completely sealed. Inside is a swirling of magic that always points to the Crystal Tower in Summerset. The Altmer create them so that they can navigate regardless of the weather or time of day.”

Summary
With the passing of his sister, Calcelmo is left alone with his newly born nephew. Life is difficult enough in the slums of the Summerset city of Dusk and he struggles to find anyone who truly appreciates his passion for the lost Dwemer culture. After a series of events sways him, Calcelmo decides that his destiny lies outside of the Summerset Isles and begins his journey that inevitably leads to his role as court wizard of Markarth and head researcher of Nchuand-zel's excavation, which could not have been achieved without the aid of his young nephew and his prodigious intellect.
No doubt about it, these two need each other in more ways than one.

Finding a replacement apprentice has become their first and greatest priority, but given the urgency of the situation against Siroria's rapidly approaching retirement, the Welkynar may have to look in unconventional places for their next member.
