Summary
Scientists and weirdos alike have spent millennia researching how to revive the dead. Some exhaust countless hours with their backs hunched over wooden desks, pens scribbling furiously until their wrists ache and the words blur together. Others take to the field. There they investigate paranormal sightings with sore feet and furrowed eyebrows, courtesy of miles spent trudging the wilderness with only false reports and hearsay to go by.
And then there’s Sunny, the depressed 12 year old who hasn’t showered in a week, but still decides to play God for the second time in his life. The only difference between him and the others? He succeeds. He mutters some stuff in Latin, eats a slightly burned PB&J, and his sister rises from the grave. What the fuck.

Summary
This is where fear flipped back to anger. He started to forget that this was all interpretation and hypotheticals; Basil had purposely put Sunny in this situation, just to bind them together with the same fucked up secret. In his head Sunny lived out nights where they had left Mari in her bed, or hadn’t touched her body at all and left it at the bottom of the stairs for his parents to find; if that had happened, maybe he could have been getting the help he needed instead of freaking out every day. Maybe he could have talked about how afraid he was of losing the people he cared about instead of being even more isolated from them. Maybe...maybe…
Sometimes when he was alone, Sunny ruminated on these maybes until his blood boiled. Then it warped right back around to fear, because anger was what caused this all to happen in the first place, right?

AU where Sunny is given his violin when he turns 15, the year canon is set in. The same events unfold but everyone is a little older, and handles them a little differently.

Summary
In a swift aggressive motion, Sunny yanks his hand back and throws his violin down the stairs. It lays broken in front of my feet. It’s smashed. I look up at him in confusion. He doesn’t acknowledge my presence.
“THERE.” He says. Bitter. Again. “NOW I'M NOT PLAYING.”
Mari is angry now. She’s angry and hurt. “What did you just do.” She asks, but she doesn’t expect an answer. The answer is clear at the bottom of the staircase.

Summary
In which, instead of Kel being the one to get Sunny out of his shell, its Aubrey and the rest of the Hooligans. Shenanigans ensue, and Sunny learns to deal with his emotions in ways that are not even arguably heathly. But hey, at least he got out of the house, right?
Idea inspired by the wonderful artwork from YugiKitten depicting Sunny and Aubrey as delinquents together (https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/824473847108599828/828406499263905872/k2vf6guwyzq61.png?width=674&height=674). Credit for the idea and general asthetic of these two goes to the artist. Check em out on here too, they have an account under the same name. Also follow them on all their socials n stuff. Also inspiration taken from the artwork's comments on reddit (mainly the idea of Sunny knowing how to do tricks with a butterfly knife).

Summary
Hero wasn’t sure what he expected. More of a response than a simple nod, maybe. But sunny was never much of a talker. It would make this conversation a little more difficult, but Hero was patient.
This started off as just a paragraph I wrote for fun, but then it morphed into this. This is one of my first times really writing and Omori fanfiction, go easy on me!

Summary
Months before the fated day of the recital, Kel learned how to do a cool trick with a piece of rope and wanted to share it with Basil. Basil, ever curious, accepts and learns a new skill in knot-tying. It may be potentially dangerous, but Basil was responsible.
What's the worst thing that could happen?
Ever since playing Chapter ??? I've been wondering how Basil knew how to tie a noose as a 12 year old. This is my own personal answer to that question.
