Naruto and Sasuke hated each other in high school. What happens when in college they are roomed together? How about when the power goes out and one is afraid?

After Kaguya is defeated, almost all chakra is gone from the world, as such, the Tailed Beasts also vanish; Kurama, however, sacrifices itself to bring Kushina back to life. Residual amounts of chakra remain in people to still use. Thus the nations continue their conflict for resources after the war. Another cause for strife is Kushina herself, states/villages believing she's the reason chakra vanished, and attempt assassinations on her, hoping her death will reset chakra levels. All Konoha civilians believe she was just held captive by Akatsuki in stasis for a ritual-jutsu.
Story starts a year later where Sasuke runs Anbu and the soon-to-be-married Naruto is a teacher Jonin next in line to be Hokage. Best friends with the shared goal of the Leafs legacy: Sasuke will run the Anbu from the shadows, stopping assassinations and ordering them. while Naruto will lead the next generation.
One day, Sasuke achieves enlightenment to rebuild these bloodlines through the breeding of whoever is worthy.
