Summary
Valencia had always been a strong, firm follower of Hydaelyn and Her teachings. Never had she thought that would be her downfall.
It's an AU, the plot points are made up and the timeline doesn't matter.

Summary
The story of Etheirys and its shards... but not the one you may know.
Midea Lillie was the Warrior of Light, an adventurer devoted to bringing balance and peace to Eorzea and beyond. She had faith in Hydaelyn, and ever strove to bring more and more light to counter the darkness that threatened the star, learning to be a White Mage in the process. She made a close friend and partner in Minfilia, a woman with similar gifts and goals. Midea experienced the highs and lows of conflict, defeating the Ultima Weapon and eventually journeying to Ishgard after a great tragedy... where she would surely help end the Dragonsong War, being the Warrior of Light...
When tragedy struck... Midea cried out in desperation for her Mother. But the will of the star, Hydaelyn Herself, had her own ideas.
And now Midea is reborn, ready to bring Hydaelyn's blessing to every world at any cost. Filled with light and purpose, and tempered to the Goddess at the heart of the star, she will be Her hand. And it will be beautiful.

Summary
The Warrior of Light systematically burns every bridge around her, insisting she has no one she can turn to but the Ascians in her quest to undo the flaws of Zodiark's creation. Meanwhile, former friends desperately seek to stop her from betraying all they have ever worked for, despite it being almost certainly too late.
Emet-Selch, revived by the Warrior's black magic, stands caught between disgust and desire for the lover he once knew and the half-souled witch she is now. He cannot avoid her: death has not ended his own enigmatic plans, and she is a tool at his disposal.
Elidibus can feel the jaws of a trap closing in from all sides, and must find and stop the source before all is brought to ruin.
All would save the world in the manner they deem best fit. They cannot all succeed. Nor are they the only forces at play...
Continuation of Snag.

Summary
Isolated by power, by circumstance, by trauma, the Warrior of Light finds herself drawn in by the words of Emet-Selch and the knowledge he dangles just out of her reach. It becomes painfully clear that the two are far more alike than comfortable for her to admit, and that his need for an ally is real. She is no ancient sorcerer, but she bears the remaining glory of fallen Mhach, and she has ever been resourceful. Even the inevitability of death is malleable, to one brilliant but unwise.
She will save all possible worlds. She must. To die trying is not an option.
