Summary
To you, the player, The Stanley Parable is nothing but a game, but what if I were to tell you that once you quit, the game doesn’t end.
After all, the end is never the end.
Humans have never quite been able to grasp the truth of sentience. They believe that sentience is a human trait, that not even animals have the capability to think and feel like humans do. If they believe that living, breathing creatures on their same plane of existence aren’t just as sentient as they are, then don’t get me started on video game characters.
After all, how could strings of code think and feel?
But let me propose to you a question, reader. Are strings of code so dissimilar to DNA?
Not really. The only difference is that one is not confined to living the same existence, the same story over and over again. The second it ends, it starts again. Even if no one is watching or reading or playing.
This, is the story of a man named Stanley.
I’m sure you know his story. Or rather, the one that the game narrates.

Summary
The Narrator does an annual check in on The Parable. They do have to go in physically, effectivly shoving a fourth dimension away in a spare body they can't edit for some reason. Normally, Stanley is locked in the closet for this. The Narrator forgot, leading to an awkward series of events around endings The Narrator never remembers, all while they both struggle to express emotions and not cry over their own self image.

Summary
Going through their story together, Stanley thought it'd be fun if his Narrator started making choices.
Sure, they knew the story inside-out, but why not let the Narrator choose what they did and how?
Who could've expected that the Parable wouldn't enjoy that, and tried to "fix" the situation?(Can be read without knowing the series!)

An Employee's Off-Course Confusion Ending by LunarBlossomsWrites

Summary
When the Confusion Ending goes off-course, the disorientation and loss of control isn't just contained in one ending. It becomes everything, swallowing the Parable whole.
The Narrator and Stanley form an alliance to find their way back to the original story, but it quickly becomes clear that they are facing something much bigger than themselves, an issue much more permanent that destroys all of the Narrator's intent on the Parable.
And permanent means never-ending — the game will keep existing, see? There is good-heartedness in destruction.

Summary
Stan's life is simple: Go to work, play games, eat, sleep. It's a rather boring life, but he's not really complaining.
When the opportunity arises to test out a new immersive VR experience, he has no idea what awaits him.
All he knows is that it's a game made by an AI, and he'll be in a live-build of it. All he has to do is finish the game, report his experience, and go home with some money. Easy, right? -

Summary
Stanley's lost count of the amount of times he's been through this story.
He's seen every ending, every nook and cranny that he can possibly access- some of it of his own volition, and some of it of the player's. He's wanted out, he's wanted to go home, even talking to the Narrator gets boring after a while. He knows they both want out. He just doesn't know how to get it. He doesn't know how to break this cycle. Doesn't know, doesn't know, doesn't know.
Someone else, however, does.(clawing at the bars of my cage (ap euro) I HAVE HALF OF CH6 DRAFTED ITS JUST NOT WORDING MY BRAIN WONT STOP FOCUSING ON OCS)

Summary
Stanley doesn't follow suit, however. [Hey Narrator.]
The Narrator perks his head up, stepping back through the door to look at Stanley. “Yes, Stanley?”
Stanley was crouched down, looking at something in his hand [Not sure if this is the problem, but i found this!] Stanley stands and faces his Narrator, A small, pink-ish in Colour bug sitting in his hands. The Narrator jumped back in a mix of surprise and disgust.
“STANLEY! Put that down right now! That is most certainly the root of our issues. Who knows what that- that thing could be doing to you!” Stanley doesn't listen, (He never does)Lovebug smut! and this time it isnt so problematic is it is touchy feely, a miracle.

“That is not why and you know it. Besides, I am NOT a brat. At the very least i dont go out of my way to intentionally disobey anything and everything you want, for fun. I swear, Stanley. If I was down there I would smack some sense into you.” The Narrator was even more upset then he usually managed to get him, this was fun.
