Tree and Fries understand that the Crystalline Caverns that lie outside Yoyle City are dangerous. Any cave system is, if one goes in recklessly and ignores the obvious risks. However, these caverns in particular hold a certain danger to them that has been brought upon unlucky visitors throughout the decades, causing them to vanish without a trace— and the number of these disappearances is on an exponential rise. Reluctantly brought together through their work in journalism, Tree and Fries initially set off to gather more information on what exactly has been causing these missing cases.
What they find within the labyrinth of crystal mirrors exceeds beyond science, though, and they're soon trapped in a world that houses a danger they couldn't have fathomed. Stuck between rampant monsters and winding halls that whittle down their sanity, Tree and Fries have no choice but to follow the two strangers that offer to guide them through this hellish mirror dimension and hope that they can find an escape.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" Leafy rushes through her sentence, grabbing Flower's wrist and bringing it level to her hand playing scissors. Flower's open palm is interpreted as paper, and Leafy shoves Flower abruptly and catches the latter off guard as she skitters away from the two, slipping on the sleek floor of the shop.
She perseveres, however, quickly getting up and crashing the glass door behind her as her footsteps desperately getting away from their shop echo until it fades in the distance.
"YOU-" Flower finally sputters, but Leafy is long gone when she manages to comment.
In frustration, Flower kicks and punches the air in the direction of the doors.
Leafy avoids taking care of Grassy, Blocky and Basketball are unreachable, and Tree is busy at the moment, so Flower takes care of Grassy, the youngest of the family.
