Abstract: Of the endless questions that plague the esteemed and learned scholars of the Immortal species, one in particular seems to cause much grief throughout history, for it is as basic as it is complex: how many Immortals are there, and how do we count them?
(Worldbuilding for the Vampyr-universe outside of Britain, written in the style of in-game collectibles. Most of these ideas are entirely my own invention and not canon. This universe is meant to accompany Means of Grace.)

He soon finds out he requires the help of his alien significant other and head physician of the medical division, Jonathan Reid. Follow them and their relationship as the try to track down who, and what is killing people all over London.

Summary
Jonathan Reid returns to London to take care of his ill mother, but quickly realizes something is lurking on the streets of London, under the guise of the Spanish flu. And he is ready to find the deep hidden truth, even if that puts him in the middle of an ancient battle for humanity.
Basically a retelling of the story of the game in which Jonathan doesn't get turned into a vampire straight away.

Summary
A scholar’s life had once sounded so simple, a service to His Majesty as Jonathan helped ailing villages afflicted with rodent inspired plagues or improperly purified water that has stricken the community with dysentery. Teaching the masses in a wide open lecture hall lined with robed men and the rare woman eager to absorb as much knowledge as he had to offer in his fifteen years of experience, was a vast difference to now as he trained new nurses on the spot and was assisted by bumbling green horned medics barely well enough to step away from the sheltering eaves of their mentors’ wings and reputation.
On this field, one becomes a man quickly be it by wielding a sword or sutures, they fought a similar war with a shared end goal. Mistakes were plentiful and deadly on these ashen hills scattered in the remnants of what used to be prosperous fields and farms full of livestock and hard working families. Little remained but the foundations carved in stone and the charred husks of cellars caved in by trebuchets.

“Doctor Reid. Please, I need you to stay awake. Please, just a little while.”
He opened his eyes again. It seemed he was on the sofa. The torn remnants of the sheets had been tucked around him. His gaze settled on the wide, tearful eyes and he understood. His Skal must be hungry.
“No, not that. Thank you, doctor.” His Skal whimpered softly, turning his face away from his master's torn wrist. His panting breath made a lie of the words and Jonathan woke a little more.
Just enough for the rage to seep in.

When hate reigns, love must be tenacious. The Sad Saint is not a doctor, to devise a cure. He is not a warrior, to capture the beasts. He is only a man...only a Skal... only himself.
Yet with God, all things are possible. So he will do what he can; he will try.

Summary
Geoffrey disregards instructions, becomes a vampire from King Arthur's blood. Honestly, this is what you get when you burn down a library that contains more detailed instructions.
Based on the ending where Jonathan and Elisabeth lock themselves in the crypt. Jonathan goes back to London to collect his supplies, but finds his mother kidnapped and once again gets drawn into the chaos of vampires running amok in the aftermath of the infection. This time he finds an unlikely ally in a former enemy. -

However, it's not long before he finds himself stumbling into yet another dilemma and Jonathan is not around to save him this time.
