A scream wanted to tear itself free from her mouth, she could feel one threatening to escape, but she threw a hand up, biting down on the knuckle, almost instinctively. In the same breath, she looked down to check for the bullet hole that was surely staining her outfit red.

Blake and Yang try to help them get back together and end their fighting, but Ruby's new online crush turns out to be a bigger rival for Weiss than anyone could've thought.

When newly-formed RWBY goes on a team bonding vacation for winter break, they're expecting to have fun playing in the snow and relaxing in the hot springs baths. None of them foresaw the kinds of feelings that would start to develop between them... or the extremely dark and powerful Grimm that would haunt them.
I call this "Minor Canon Divergence" because I see it as largely compatible, except that it speedruns Bumbleby and WhiteRose to happen within its time frame, and changes Blake's coming out as a faunus.

The World of Remnant is a very dangerous place. Thankfully, the Hunstman Academies are hard at work training new Huntsman and Huntresses every single year. And no Academy is better equipped(or funded...) than Atlas Academy.
While Beacon Academy and it's respective Headmaster, Ozpin, has it's sights set on a particular team of four Huntresses-to-be... Atlas Academy and it's own Headmaster, General Ironwood, have their own sights set upon a particular team... Each with very different origins and tales. And just like Team RWBY, this new Team is also, funnily and confusingly enough, named after it's leader.
(NOTE: This story starts on the same track as RWBY, and follows a very similar lore. Revelations later in the mainline RWBY story are mentioned early on in JSPR. Keeping up to date with RWBY is recommended as this story continues.)
