Iggy Koopa, the eldest member of the Koopalings is gonna be facing a lot of challenges that will later get to him soon. He thought those dreams he had was all just a dream like usual, but he is not prepared for what is waiting for him, very soon. After receiving a phone call that Bowser, his uncle, has been found dead on his 18th birthday, it changed his whole life forever. Bowser Jr., his cousin, is on the verge of being taken away by social services, and Iggy doesn't want anything bad happening to him. He would trust Kamek, but he wants to show that he can be responsible, and be the perfect guardian for Jr..
Aside from that, Iggy has a very strong bond with brothers, Larry and Lemmy. Iggy took care of Lemmy when was only five years old after his birth. He helped his late mother with caring for Lemmy, feeding him, playing with him, helping him get to sleep, and other easy things he can do at this age. Time had passed and they both still have very strong bond between them, and Larry too, who helped Iggy as well. But they both don't know is that Iggy is in love with his brothers, and he needs them to help his struggles.

A loud crash echoed throughout the castle, practically shaking the ground they were standing on.
They were, reasonably, startled.
"D-Did that come from outside?" Bucken-Berry asked, trying (and failing) to control his voice, as another crash echoed.
"Maybe the party started already?..." Ala-Gold pondered.
The festival was supposed to have a party, complete with minigames, arranged by Mario himself, and god knows that Mario's idea of partying could lead to some commotion...
But... Surely Mario would've come into the castle first to say hi to them, or at least Peach.
Just then, the entire castle shook and tilted back and forth, a horrible crunching sound echoing from below as it sounded like the castle itself was ripped from something...
Now they were more than a little alarmed.
Bucken-Berry raced over towards the nearest window, and gazed out of it.

There was a difference between Subcon and normal dreams.
Subcon was an actual world accessed by dreaming. Dreams were just... well, dreams.
