Lina is from up north and just moved in. all she's got is a run-down farm left to her from some uncle and a chicken named Hennifer.
Gourry is the dumb but lovable stablehand, apparently, Lina's uncle took him in as a young boy? the letter didn't really explain much.
Zelgadis leads a local gang of bandits that have been pillaging local towns, and now he's set his sights on Lina's turf. he's not like any bandit lina has faced before though, just what is this guy after?
Amelia is the princess of her daddy's kingdom. so to speak. she's the only remaining daughter and heir to the seyruun peach plantation! it's an honor, really! but sometimes she envies the smaller farmers. at least they can plant and do whatever they want.

Gourry’s eyes startled open, only to see Zangulus standing before him with a slight frown. His wedding clothes were crumpled, the blue sash pushed slightly over a crooked epaulet, jacket buttons haphazardly pushed back together. His signature jaunty hat, impeccable as always, remained in place.
“Oh, hey, Zangulus,” Gourry looked up at the other man, trying to pass off his nearly falling asleep, “Great party!”
“Thanks,” the bridegroom of Zoana responded a touch dully. There was something about his tone that didn’t fit with a celebration.
