Summary
It is a common misconception that demons can’t have soulmates.
Soulmarks do not disappear once a human is turned; in fact, they do not change at all. An active bond remains active, and even a newly-turned demon that is mad with hunger avoids attacking their soulmate. An open bond remains open, waiting for the right person to come along and say the words written upon the demon’s wrist so that it comes alive with color. And a lost bond remains lost, becoming gray and faded once the person it connects to dies.
Most demons lose their soulmates before ever meeting them. The pain of an unrealized bond’s loss is painful enough that demons lose themselves to their base instincts for several days, but that doesn’t hold a candle to the loss of an active bond. Two linked souls are never meant to be separated, in life or death, and that is why humans typically follow their soulmates into death within days of their parting.
Demons do not have that luxury.

Summary
“A curse that hates humans but treats us like this?” Six-Eyes’ voice is lilted incredulously. “That’s even more interesting. It makes me wonder, y’know—you never did answer when I asked what could’ve made a curse like you.”
Suguru sighs, smile dropping ever-so-slightly. “It’s very rude,” he drawls, “to ask a curse their origin, especially if they’ve already denied answer.”
///OR: the one where Getō is a millennium-old curse with an abnormal amount of moral agency and Gojō is very, very interested

Summary
The boy shifts on his feet. “The year is two thousand and eighteen? Common Era?”
Slowly, smile still plastic on his face, Suguru faces Satoru. This fucking dumbass. “Satoru,” he says, dangerous edge to his voice, “what did you do?”
Satoru makes some bastardization of a sound, half between a laugh and a cough. “...Whoops?”
“I,” Suguru grits, pinching two fingers together, “am this close to mass murder.” He’s joking. Probably.
///OR: Shortly before Getō would have massacred a village, he and Gojō are thrust eleven years forward into a would-have-been future that Getō is conspicuously absent from.
