Summary
Los Angeles is not a city known for being 'easy' to do well in, as a new parahuman in 2008. It has decades of built-up power, entrenched gangs and a fiercely competitive scene, with people willing to kill to secure their positions. In particular, independent heroes without a sponsor or a group don't tend to do well. But for Angie, a freshly triggered Brute, that's just another small barrier for her to shove her way through. With her ground-based power, nothing will stop her from sinking her way into the world of capes in L.A.
This is mostly a story about learning how to be a hero, dealing with the intricacies of a setting that canon Worm never explores. There are elements that are not canon-compliant, but these are typically minor, and concern the placement of gangs or characters. Featuring a huge cast of original characters and powers. Updates every Wednesday and Sunday (At least).
