Summary
Dream couldn’t believe what was happening. He just lost his grandmother, made a huge effort to move to the capital and all his brother did was half reciprocate a hug before fucking off to who knows where leaving him with two strangers, one of whom threatened him earlier?

Dream moves in with his brother who owns a mob after losing his remaining family. He hates this and tries to change his brother's ways only to later understand his motives. For the first time in his life, he puts himself in direct danger for friends he didn't know he had, not before accidentally putting everyone's life in danger first. He needs to learn to survive in a world that turned its back on people like him before it's too late.

The Multiverse is vast and nigh infinite, possibilities, concepts, the very function of a world's reality only limited by sheer creativity.
Within this realm, Dreamtale exists as an enigma, plucked from another Multiverse entirely. The tragedy of it's Story forced to continue beyond it's Endings, for it forced the concept of Balance into the Multiverse's rules. Now open-ended, the only two Characters wanders throughout the Multiverse as one of it's Outcodes.
Dream broke out of stone to one colorful and curious Inkblot, so much to comprehend for someone so small. But alive nonetheless.
Nightmare woke up freshly dead.

The cab's door closed with a soft *thud*.
Cross looked at the rear-view mirror, more professional than fully turning around to see the person he'd be driving around. He was just that, professional.
Or at least he tried to be, he hadn't been working as a taxi driver for very long, actually, but it was a nice enough job. The pay was good, even if the company that hired him was less than desirable. He'd climb his way up from there in due time.
Besides, the service was plenty when the city was so full of life.
Not this part, specifically. This part was nearly desolate, industrial estate thirty minutes away from it, no one in sight... except for the man that he had in his back seat.
Or,
Cross is an overworked taxi driver, too overworked to really judge the weird guy that keeps on requesting rides from random location to random location. He pays well, and Cross really just wants to get by. He knows nothing of the other, other than how nice he is to talk to, in the sea of tourists he has to drive around.

Summary
Nightmare wasn't too upset at the announcement of his betrothal. He had excepted long ago he would be wed, would take another at his arm to rule. He hadn't expected it to come so soon.
He has no doubt the suitors his mother will have picked out will be lovely, but not to his taste. So he is much surprised when he finds each of them have an energy he is drawn to.
And as it turns out, perhaps the biggest problem isn't picking the best of the worst, but picking between four men that he loves.
Or, put simply, its my betrothal au!
