Hawks knows something is stirring in the underbelly of society. An uneasiness lingers in the streets he patrols. Yet, it's not as though he can do much, with wings clipped by the Commission that owns him, and so, he lives his illusion of freedom - hoping to find a way to someday bring down the handlers that raised him.
It begins with a Lightbulb falling from a balcony.
Fate sets in motion the beginning of another Upheaval, that will leave their society changed again - though - whether they all come out of it alive will be entirely in the hands of those they call heroes, and whom Hawks comes to call family.

He expected to see the austere walls of the HPSC meeting room, the threatening shadow of an opponent or even his horribly empty modern minimalist apartment worthy of an IKEA catalog, but what he discovered petrified him much more: dark alleys, a musty smell, and a collapsed woman, a worn syringe in her hand.

He is going to change the future, make some friends, maybe find a boyfriend, give some Villains a reason to be better and stop some Heroes. For better or for worse.
