It’s not his fault that he’s gotten so used to Boom being by his side. Boom takes up permanent residence inside his heart, his pulse becoming so intertwined with his own that it’s hard to distinguish between them. Not having him here in his reach causes his chest to physically ache.
It doesn’t help either, that ever since he’s seen that fucking perfume ad, all he can think about are Boom’s long, slender fingers… so he’s frustrated in more ways than one. The intense summer heat doing nothing to calm his desires.

Boom has nothing to occupy him, his eyes have been slipping closed, until he jolts awake. Whereas Aou scrolls on his phone, as his other hand cards softly through Boom’s hair, the touch featherlight. He’s not sure if Aou’s aware he’s even doing it. Boom can’t help the tears that prick at his eyes, as the overwhelming, unconditional love that Aou has for him washes over him, tugging at his heart.
