"I can't believe we made it," Aether sighed into Xiao's shoulder, giggling a little.
"You act like we had any other option," Xiao replied, his tone bland and bored.
The two fell back into comfortable silence, both wrapped up in their own worlds thinking about the past four years. Xiao pulled Aether in a little closer.
"Mmm," Aether let out, nuzzling Xiao's neck.
"Yes?"
"How much time do we have until we are supposed to show up at Venti's place?"
Xiao grabbed his phone and checked the time," About two hours, why?"
Aether sat up and Xiao caught the mischievous smile on his lips.
"Let's make sure we use that time wisely."
