Summary
Tommy Schlatt, better known to the public as the Number Four hero Icarus, had a problem.
His dad, the Number two hero Dream, had signed him up to take on three heroes in training when he knew just how much he didn't want to. There were already so many issues with it.
1: Tommy was only 16
2: Tommy hated working with others and was dogshit at it
3: Tommy didn't want to watch them die when he ultimately failed
Icarus had six months to train them, each month more daunting than the last and every mission unveiling more of the truth that was seemingly laying out in the open.
Or, hero Tommy has to learn how to get along with others while also secretly improving himself
!!!The Wilbur in my story is Wilbur Watson because I refuse to support an abuser! Any reference to him is strictly a character and is completely in my hands. Also, I made the initial idea in 2022, way before the Dream and Tommyinnit shit. I know they practically hate each other, but like I said before, all of these guys are just characters that I have made!!!

Summary
Tommyinnit is a junior in high school, and he's already had many big changes in his life. Tommy's a nice kid who likes to help others out and stand up for what he believes in, people really like that about him. Over the recent months before the start of this story, he's lost so much, but once he moves, things start to look up for him.
Unfortunately, life is never fair and has decided to show poor Tommy no mercy.
Unless it's just in his head? ... Did he really lose anything? Did he really get everything that he could've ever hoped for? Is anything even real?

Also, if you can catch my little foreshadowing in the first chapter and one other spot I'd be so happy, it'll be less of foreshadowing after it happens of course, and more people will notice what the clue is in that one other spot once they either read it or figure it out, good luck. I pulled a big brain play for that one...

Summary
To think of it logically, everything has a start, no matter how stupid it may be, like what came first? The chicken or the egg? A very silly question with a deeper meaning. The war for instance, a small conflict, a minor insult against the Amber Fortresses from the Sapphire Kingdom, a few simple words that tore down an alliance of centuries. The insult went much deeper than intended and the small conflict grew and soon the other kingdom nearby, the Emerald Empire also got involved. A war started between the two initial kingdoms, assassins were sent, all failed but the Emerald Empire got stuck in the crossfire, thus getting into the war. A cold, harsh, hateful, ugly flower of contention grew and flourished as the war continued. Nobody really saw it, but there are opposites in everything, there must be for any one thing to exist. So, with this logic, even though war and hatred can very easily exist, so can unity and kindness. About 23 years after that first insult was spat, three princes find out that the key to ending the war that their fathers had started might just be their own unforeseen friendship.
