Not a single spot of blood remained on the cobblestone floors... but Draco could still see it. Could still smell the metallic scent mixing with the smoke of magical fires. He was alone. Most of his eigth year peers had transferred schools, or outright refused to come back.

Like, Hermione would be ok if Harry wasn’t. Hermione is ok when Harry isn’t. Because he isn’t, and Hermione has been fine, laughing with her dormmates and enjoying being back at Hogwarts.
But Ron… Ron doesn’t know how to be ok when Harry isn’t. It’s like he has tunnel vision, when it comes to Harry’s well-being. When Harry isn’t ok, it’s all Ron can think about. He just wants to make it better, and it’s killing him that he doesn’t know how to.OR
