Summary
Niffty was marked by a hard childhood, growing up listening to stories shared by other children in the orphanage. One in particular stayed with her, shaping how she saw the world: the certainty that demons and vampires existed, and that they were responsible for so many wrongs in her life.
She died in the 1950s, trapped in a loveless marriage to a man whose poor choices pulled him into the KKK.
This is Niffty’s story (second chapter), how she ended up in Hell and, on Alastor’s good side.
With both characters’ backstories interwoven, the tale is heavily influenced by Sinners (2025). -
