With a gasp the Human’s body straightened, rigid, eyes wide as he finally took in his surroundings, starting with the Shadow who had helped him. His eyes squinted at the mass, the Shadow's own form changing to match that of the human, and a glint of recognition appeared in his face. With that, the Shadow’s suspicions were confirmed.
His master was alive. Alastor was alive. Much too alive.

‘You called?’ the shadow creature says, in a voice thick with static. Despite its horrifying silhouette, and the crescent of yellow teeth, the cadence is oddly comforting. Victor can only choke out a plea.
‘Are you here to save me?’
Blood fills his new mouth. He registers a red coat being thrown over him, perhaps with the intention of preserving his remaining modesty.
‘Oh, you foolish thing,’ it says, looking down at Victor, whose vision is dimming as he dies, again. ‘You’re beyond saving.’
Victor does not respond well to finding himself in the afterlife. It is a horrible a new existence to adjust to, with a freakish new body, a television for a head, and his money and fame ripped away. He’s lucky, really, that an eccentric radio demon with cannibalistic tendencies takes him under a thorny wing. Alastor definitely has no ulterior motives involving Victor’s soul. None at all!

Despite societal constraints, Alastor resolved to be in his daughter's life and provide for her in every way he knew how including using his voodoo knowledge to grant her voodoo powers. Unfortunately, he died when his baby was only a few months old, but he promised himself that he'd find her in the future and be in her life again. Now that almost 100 years have passed, Alastor is looking for his daughter. But unfortunately for him, his daughter has been in hell for a long time and wants nothing to do with him. The two clash and drama ensues when she seeks redemption at the Hotel.
