In a heartbreaking turn of events, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi left Tatooine without nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker, despite Qui-Gon’s desire to take him back to the Jedi Temple and train him. Left with his mother and Watto on the desolate planet, Anakin throws his anger and disappointment into his podracing, becoming a champion racer and winning enough money to buy his and his mother’s freedom. By age fifteen, he had opened his own mechanic’s shop. Meanwhile, Naboo managed to come through the invasion by the Trade Federation, and Qui-Gon Jinn was killed by Darth Maul. Now, ten years later, tensions are high in the Republic, and civil war is on the horizon. Anakin Skywalker is about to find himself thrown into the midst of events that will plunge the Republic into war and will test his control and the balance he has struck in himself.

Padmé married Bail and had twins. Anakin didn't take it well. Padme and Anakin| Vader have carried on a (somewhat) secret affair for decades, despite the fact that she's married to Bail.
This story spans the timeframe from a few months after RotS, to just before the start of ANH.
This story is a series of vignettes all set in the same universe. It's marked as complete, however, there will still be periodic additions to the universe.

Waking up to an empty bed is quickly becoming a part of Padmé’s morning routine. Light from the bathroom streams into the bedroom and casts a spotlight onto Anakin’s side of the bed.
Sweat-soaked, just like they were last morning. And the morning before that.
Ever since Padmé told Anakin she is pregnant he’s been acting strange. He wakes in the dead of night, covered in sweat, and it’s like he can’t bear to be by her because he leaves in favor of standing on the balcony watching speeders go by.
Padmé sighs and pushes the sheets off of her.
Anakin's violent retch echoes in the bathroom and Padmé flinches and walks a little faster.

Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker are both fourteen years old when they meet on Naboo during the Trade Federation's invasion. What starts as a teenage crush turns into something much more when they see each other again years later, when Anakin is assigned as her Jedi protector after attempts on her life.
The story follows Padmé and Anakin through alternate events of the Prequel Trilogy/The Clone Wars TV show, and then into the Imperial Era, where they both grow into very different people.
Essentially a re-write of history with my own stuff added in. I'm a sucker for Anidala, sue me.
