"Do you have any idea what it means?" Saejima asked. Majima didn't look at Saejima. He kept his eye trained on the buildings slowly becoming silhouettes as night crept into Kamurocho.
"Not a clue." He replied. He wracked his brain for a few intense moments and sighed hard in exasperation. His heart hurt with that same distant hope from Osaka long ago. Majima thought he would never have to feel that again. "But it's gotta mean somethin', yeah?! Kiryu-chan wouldn't've gone to all the trouble to leave that screwy clue if he didn't want me to find it!"
"Kiryu wasn't a man who did anything needlessly." Saejima agreed he turned his head to look at his brother. "But why? Does he want you to go to Sado? If so, what's there?"
"I don't know. But I'm gonna find out."

“Land ho!”
“What did he call us?” Saejima grunted, Kiryu didn't respond as Majima made his way down the ramp. He waved goodbye to the captain of the ship as it pulled out of port quickly, almost as if the inhabitants were happy to be rid of him.
As he walked down the ramp, Kiryu noticed his new outfit immediately. A long purple and black leather pirate overcoat had taken over his trademark Snakeskin jacket, or even the down jacket he'd worn to sea. Majima sprinted to the small group, wrapping his arms around Kiryu’s waist first, dropping the suitcase he’d been carrying. The other man immediately grabbed his pirate-clad lover’s face, pulling him into a kiss.
For a second, it felt like they were the only two on the planet.
“I missed you so much.” Kiryu whispered, “I'm just so happy you're safe.”
“Arrgh! It’ll take more than a choppy sea and a Kraken to keep me away from ya!”

Majima was gone for two months after a workplace accident sent him into the hands of pirates. Now that he's home, he can't break the habit of his newfound pirate lifestyle, much to the chagrin of his loved ones.Bookmarked by 2bread

Summary
It’s one thing when you do something wrong yourself. It’s another when your other boss is the one to blame and he’s not as gracious—or as sane—about righting his mistakes.
This is turning into a pattern, Kiryu thinks. And a huge problem.When Majima’s sour attitude begins to dip Majima Construction’s expense budget into the red, Kiryu handles the other man the only way he can in this setting: through his yearly review. But when Nishida reveals that the boss is feeling sore about issues far beyond the construction site, Kiryu must do his best to smooth each issue over and lighten Majima’s mood…or else he’ll end up with a review score that needs improvement.

Summary
He’s pushing his luck. He knows it. Any minute now and Kiryu will yank himself free. Punch him. Shove him backwards off the bar and send him crashing into the wall of bottles. Maybe he already has, and everything that’s happened since Majima grabbed him is all part of a dream he’s having as he lays unconscious on the dive bar’s dirty floor. He’ll wake up in a few minutes with a splitting headache and no Kiryu to be found. Surely, this can’t be real.
At this point, he doesn’t really care.

He recalled a time when he’d made the mistake of drinking three BOSS coffees back to back, up late on a job. That had been bad. This was worse.
Hurrying to get out of the street, Kiryu leaned hard against a flashing sign, some big bright display advertising a local DVD shop.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, but even as he stood there, he felt increasingly anxious. Panic crawled up his spine, his heartbeat thundering in his ears. He contemplated what he should do. Call an ambulance?
No. He knew exactly who to call.
The phone rang once before the voice at the other end of the line took Kiryu from terrified to angry.
“Yo! Kiryu-chan!”

Summary
Kiryu flees to the countryside and lives a quiet life in a quiet village, wanting to start over as a nobody with no past. He buys a little run down farm, decides to fix it up with the help of some locals and plans on becoming a farmer. All the while, Haruka is still in a coma with no signs of waking.
Majima is kidnapped by the Omi and manages to escape, now on the run. He stashes himself away in the back of a truck and finds himself stranded in a small and sleepy village. He stumbles upon a farm.

There was a small part of Okita that was still disgustingly soft despite his best efforts. He felt it melting in the warmth of Saito’s proclamation, and he did his best to ignore it. “You can cook?” he demanded incredulously.
“I’m very good at it,” Saito said with the casual immodesty of someone who probably was.
Okita shook him just a little. “You were holdin’ out on me with that, too!”
