Sometimes, his phone buzzes late at night. Sometimes, Hyunjin's laugh is the raft tossed out to sea solely for him, speaking things of weightlessness: "Hyung, tell me about your day. Channie hyung, I haven't seen you in a few hours, so let's talk."
As it usually goes, Chan is drawn to Hyunjin, so his body rises to the surface on those rare nights. It's nice, being able to breathe. Chan thinks it's even better to pretend the world ceases to exist when Hyunjin can allow him such a privilege.

“Are you sure you've got everything, Lix? Cause once we hit the road I’m not turning back around.”
“Yes, Channie.” Felix rolls his eyes but his expression is soft and his voice is so fond. “I triple checked, I’ve got everything I need.”
“You say this now, but watch us get an hour into the drive and suddenly you’re realizing you forgot one of the products of your twelve step skincare routine.” Chan teases. His boyfriend tugs at his bottom lip with his teeth in retaliation.
“First of all there’s only four steps.” Felix murmurs against Chan’s lips.
Chan and Felix drive four hours to meet the rest of Stray Kids for a remote vacation.

Summary
It wasn’t the end of the world. Everyone knew of a friend of a friend who’d swapped with another trainee, or a bandmate, or a manager. Jisung had heard Chan talk about a number of friends who have gone through a swap, but Chan knew everyone in the industry so that in itself wasn't surprising.
Or, on the morning Jisung wakes up in Chan's body he comes up with a plan to finally put an end to Chan and Felix's pining. This quickly becomes everyone's problem.
