Summary

Summary
All Obito can think is that he’s already too late. He had a chance that he’s already blown. Minato’s eyes are glassy and bright blue. You’d think they’d look faded in death, but they shine with emptiness. And Kushina’s hair is still so red, red in a way that seems unreal. The rest of her is red too. And Obito had only just come back, and he was already too late- because this was his first unforgivable act.
Obito dies in the war, gets a chance to go back, and arrives on the night that the Kyuubi is released. It's a mercy, it's penance, and it's a life he doesn't deserve.

Summary

Kids are the joy of life, cousin Mikoto once said, presenting him with the ugliest, wrinkliest, most eyesoreful infant possible. Itachi opened his eyes then, and, almost as if he could read Obito’s thoughts and decipher the grimace of disgust on his face, started crying and screeching like a captured bijou - Obito would know, he heard that sound many times by now.
So that was a fucking lie.
He forces himself not to comment on the armoury that the kid’s bed had become - he can allow Sasuke to keep some paranoia, as a treat - and instead tugs at the covers.
Three more shuriken and a kunai fall to the floor.
“I’m happy right here. Can you teach me katon?” Sasuke tells him, as if Obito isn't going through every thing he knows about anger management in his head right now.
“Kid, seriously,” Obito rubs at his temples, “take it from me, only having training as your hobby will lead to a burnout,” or, to becoming a terrorist that gets thrown into the past against his will.
Or; after the fight with Kaguya, instead of dying, Obito finds himself in the Uchiha compound week post the massacre.
He ends up taking care of Sasuke.Or; Obito repents by becoming a parental figure.

"I'm fine, Kakashi." The lie slips easily from his tongue. "I suppose I haven't regained my full control of my strength just yet. My hand…" He holds it out in front of him to show Kakashi the trembling of his fingers. Kakashi breathes a sigh, now close enough to touch.
"I see," he says, reaching out with his own two hands to calm the tremors. The shock of his palms against Obito's skin nearly causes him to drop the act right then and there.
You don't see anything, he wants to say, the words simmering in his suddenly tight throat.
But he doesn't, because he's Obito Uchiha. And that eye-opening realization has transformed his tiny world, ripped away any shred of comfort he could have dug from this isolated shack and its strangely familiar caretaker. Which is lucky because, as it turns out, there are plenty of other adversaries making moves in Fire Country - both the clans will need to make new friends to survive.
Madara would have been content if his new husband tolerated him and helped his clan stay safe. He doesn't quite know what to do with the fact that his husband doesn't stop there.

Summary
He flicked his wrist in a circular motion as a large glob of water coalesced above his hand before elongating and freezing, looking like basic kanzashi hair sticks. With practiced ease, he gathered up a majority of his hair and twisted it into a bun, sticking the ice kanzashi in to keep it in place. His reflections stared back at him with a high bun at the back with two clumps of long strands framing the sides, his bangs covering his forehead.
"You look a little like a girl, Ototo," Hashirama commented as he appeared behind his younger brother.
Daichi, still staring at his reflection, felt something click in his mind from that comment. "I guess I do," he mumbled. It was a thought to consider.
