[But he doesn’t have a problem with Nakamura liking other guys. It’s okay for Nakamura to have a crush on this mystery brown eyed boy. In fact, he’s supportive of him. It would be good for Nakamura to be able to confess to his crush and for it to work out. It’d be completely fine for Nakamura to date him and do all the things boyfriends would do. He’s totally fine with him kissing another boy.
But Hirose mentally cringes at this line of thinking. He does seem to have a problem with all of that. He doesn’t want to see Nakamura with a boyfriend. Hirose doesn’t need to see him holding hands and kissing another boy. He’d hate to see such a thing.]

It hadn’t stopped Wilbur from indulging in it while it lasted. He had lingered and clung until that fierce love had turned into an even fiercer distaste that had felt closer to hatred the more he messed up.
”That’s it?”
The overwhelming disbelief knocked Wilbur straight out of the spiral his thoughts had taken. Hurt washed over him as he took in the incredulous expression marring his dad’s features.
