Summary
Ash Ketchem has dreamed of being a Pokemon Master just like his father, Red Ketchem. On what was supposed to be the start of his Pokemon Journey ends up in disaster. He is betrayed by his Pikachu on his first day and almost dies if not for the aid of various Pokemon including an Absol named Azrael who sensed his demise.
Forced to delay his journey by a year, Ash seeks to grow stronger with the help of his friends, family, and his new Pokemon team. Ash will not only need to face his near death trauma but also deal with events outside his control as destiny will not wait for the Chosen One to recover. How will everything now change due to Ash needing a year to delay his jounrey? What friends will he make? What will his new team be? What will happen to those Ash couldn't have effect in his journey?
Ash and his team must prepare for the challenges that come ahead both now and later.
