His tattoos were somewhat cool, if Shun had gotten a closer look maybe he’d interpret why he had a demon on his arm. And that bracelet, it could’ve meant nothing but something about it made him feel as though he had a chance.
It was silly, a mere attraction to someone so attractive. He knew there wouldn’t be another chance of seeing him again. Frustrated, he closed his laptop and set it down next to his phone. He grabbed one of his sleep pills, shoved it in his mouth and swallowed it without water. Wasn’t much of a fan of the taste, but that’s what you get for not following the instructions.

It’s that philosophy combined with a natural stubbornness that makes him push himself to the point of exhaustion just to stay in a weight class his body knew he didn’t belong in. The same driving force that would risk his career on a counter that could go wrong with a misstep or an unanticipated lucky punch. The spirit to never have regrets has been ingrained in his mind for as long as he could remember but it was hardly an ideal that he came to on his own. For that, he had his father to thank.
