“Fuck,” Satoru wheezes.
Suguru brings men home and Satoru wonders if, judging by the pangs in his chest and the sudden overwhelming urge to punt these hookups into the sun, he’s homophobic. They figure things out slowly.

Taph felt unsure of it for a moment, and they glanced back down the hall, where they could still hear everyone else, far enough that it was just a mix of noise. And Taph felt strangely uneasy, isolated—the city lights shone across the clean marble floor, and reflected off the sharp edges of Doombringer's armor.
Then they pushed themself off the wall and nodded, following after him as he continued down the hall. The voices behind them grew duller, slowly, quieter until they could hear nothing but their pair of footsteps, into the dark, alone, with him.

Summary
I have no idea what I'm doing here help. This is a gory, vile, and highly dubious tale of a vampire who serves under the command of the Red Army, and his hapless human captive from the opposing Blue Army. I'm posting it to AO3 because its remarkable tagging system is the only place I feel comfortable sharing this highly self-indulgent monstrosity.
The story is set in a world similar to our own during the Napoleonic wars, except everything is different and also there's supernatural entities such as the titular vampire, though they appear to be somewhat rare. Similarities with real nations from our world are scrambled and intentionally avoided but things are vaguely european in flavour.
Title may be changed at some point if I ever think of a real one and not just the title of the .rtf file......Bookmarked by AANTIPATHYY
