Lance and Keith are rival cosplayers, who only know each other by their online usernames. They are fiercely competitive, but are also desperately attracted to each other. You'd think they would just get together already, but there's a couple of problems:
1. Keith crossplays, so Lance has absolutely no idea that Keith is a boy.

Summary
It was funny at first. Their arguments became more banter than actual disagreements, yet the entire team continued to assume they were at each other’s throats.
And Lance knows they’re not. He is fully aware that every sharp word, every sly smirk, every heavy handed push, and everything in between is anything but malicious.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t miss the softer side of things.
Or, Lance and Keith are in a secret relationship, but honestly want to omit the 'secret' part.

Summary
He had thought that the team would stay together, for one. He hadn’t seen Pidge or Lance since that reunion where the lions all left. He saw Hunk and Shiro more recently, but it was still too long ago. He had thought that whatever bond they all formed would just… keep them together. After all they had been through.
He had also thought he and Lance would… keep going. Like, after everything? They had done so much and had fought for so long together. Lance did have his thing with Allura, but if anything, Keith thought that would’ve pushed Lance to want to jump back into the whole space thing more. To keep her memory alive.
So when Keith was asked to lead the Blade of Marmora, he accepted, naturally assuming Lance would… want to come too.
But Keith had been wrong.
It’s fine. He was long over that.

Lance and Keith run into each other on Christmas Eve. Neither of them know what to say, but neither of them want to leave, either.

"No way! Everything's got a logical explanation." She turned to face the guys.
"I'm not a tech genius like you. But I feel the power, and the energies. Of something." Replied Keith.
"There's totally something bigger out there, whether it's this fallen man, the energy signals, or our feelings." Said Hunk staring at Keith's board.
