    Summary

A record of the slow but inevitable assertion of gravity, or: moments captured on the silver rail, as an endearingly weird golden-eyed amnesiac convinces his judicious guard-slash-archivist trailblaze companion that he may in fact be for real.

Caelus blinks at him in surprise.  "Since when have you paid attention to that kind of stuff?"

"I have always paid attention," Dan Heng says, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.  "But I have only recently come to realize that observation without action has little value, when action is what is required."

That sounds more profound than it should, out of Dan Heng's mouth.  "Am I really coming off that pathetic?"

"Would you not do the same for me?"  Which isn't a no, actually.

Kim Dokja grasps at his hands desperately. “Joonghyuk-ah. Was this not the world you wanted?”

    “What?”

“Did I dream it wrong? Is that it? Is that why you’re so sad all the time? Do you—do you want me to dream it differently?”

(Post epilogue, Kim Dokja gets too caught up in his own head. He thinks that maybe, he should never have been here at all.)

    Summary

To be fairly honest, the kind of life Aether was living right now, barely out of university, wasn’t the kind of life he was expecting. Not so soon, at least. But, when he opened the door of the apartment and took a look inside the living room, he wouldn’t trade it for the world.

“It was the kid's idea,” Xiao said.

Now, in the middle of the living room, laid a pillow fort.
