Summary
At the tender age of thirteen, the night before his coronation, Odysseus had grown wings. With his father succumbing to madness and his mother frail, Odysseus became The King of Ithaca, now with the weight of both the crown and his cursed appendages.
For the better part of his life Odysseus had bound these wings, repressing the instincts that came with it. Too bad a certain God noticed these harmful tendencies and decided to act on it. Hermes has always regarded family highly, looking out for his kin in one way or another.
Despite one falling through the cracks, Hermes will make up for it to make sure the mortal is never hurt again. Even if it means locking Odysseus away from the dangers of the world, Hermes will protect him.
Even if Odysseus doesn’t want him to.

Summary
Odysseus came to, eyes blurry and head still pounding. Heat radiated from the figure he was curled up on, tears staining the fine silks, and fists gripping the fabric roughly. He completely froze when he heard that rumbling tone of a chuckle, still laced with amusement after all these years.
Zeus somehow hadn’t changed at all, despite Odysseus becoming the monster after a decade away from home.
