Summary
Clive Rosfield is content to be a firstborn failure, living out his days as his brother's Shield; to stand to the side as Joshua leads Rosaria into the future.
But when Joshua confronts him with knowledge of an impending ambush from Sanbreque, and a role for him far grander and terrifying than he thought possible, Clive is forced to deal with a change in plans. Especially when his memories of the same future come rushing in all at once.

Time travel fix-it fic because I live in denial of FFXVI's ending, and based on the other fics for this fandom, so do you!

Summary
'Once again he would be saying goodbye. And once again he was saying his goodbyes long before he'd ever want to. Instead, this time, it wasn't him leaving. It was Tina, and this time he would have to watch her leave his life. But there would be no promise of reunion, no matter how vague that promise was. She would leave. And all he could do was watch.'

Summary
Aphrodite had foreseen Paris' triumph – her triumph, in truth. The moment his eyes would fall upon Helen of Sparta, he would understand: this was the reward for his devotion, this was the woman the gods themselves had deemed worthy of a prince so favoured.
She had not foreseen his rejection.
Had not expected him to turn away from the prize she had laid before him, to spurn the very woman he had once coveted with all his heart.
Nor had she anticipated that his desire would stray – not to another queen, most certainly not to Helen’s own cousin.
Penelope of Sparta.
(Or, after coming across a portrait of Penelope during his time in Sparta, Paris of Troy switches his kidnapping victim from Helen to Penelope. This proves far more detrimental than anyone could have imagined - a spark burning so bright that even the Gods on Olympus are caught in its flames.)

Summary
PLEASE NOTE: this is re-write and expansion of the original tale that I posted previously. If you read my "I am Yours, and You are Mine" re-write, this will be a very similar process in that I'll go chapter-by-chapter, updating in order. Except this story will likely be significantly expanded, so you probably shouldn't read ahead of the updated chapters into the original chapters as they may potentially not line up any longer. Hope you enjoy!!
STATUS OF UPDATE: updated through chapter 25 (which is an UPDATED chapter, posted 6 Jan 26.)
AU where the Northern Territories and Rosaria have been at war for a few years, with the two war Eikons, Shiva and Ifrit, as the centerpieces of battle. But what happens when their Dominants are stranded in the wilderness together? No Eikons. No political or battlefield maneuvers to guide them. They only have each other and an unexpected attraction to their greatest enemy.
While the Eikons exist, as does magic, there is no Ultima, Blight, Curse or Mothercrystals in this.

PLEASE NOTE: I've done a major re-write of this entire fic to make it more cohesive. All chapters have been updated. CH1 is new. CH19, 50, 51, 62, 74, 76 have near total re-writes. There are ~45K new words to this update compared to the original.
AU where Anabella's treachery is revealed, so the Night of Flames never occurs. Ultima, Eikons and the Curse all still in play.
PART I: Elwin plans to marry Jill to Joshua, despite Jill and Clive being in love, as the political balance of the Twins was upended by the revelation of Anabella's conspiracy with the Empire. (Ch 1-22)
PART II: Mothercrystals start collapsing and word of Ifrit spreads, capturing allied and enemy attention across he Twins. An outlaw and the lady of the wind converge on Rosaria. (CH23-45)
PART III: A dragon joins the fight but needs help in letting go of the past. Clive discovers more powers which send him reeling. Odin sets the endgame in motion. (CH46-60)
PART IV: Odin and Drake's Spine await on Ash. Clive faces the god who would use him as a weapon to remake the world. But he doesn't go to that battle alone. (CH61-78)

Summary
Dolores knew people didn't hate her; not the way they did with her uncle. But that didn't mean they liked her. People could try faking, but the girl knew she wasn't welcomed most of the time. Go figure: it looked people didn't like the idea of being heard 24/7. Dolores had told them multiple times that most of the time she could only listen to other people’s conversation when it was asked (a lie), that there was no way in heaven and hell she could remember everything she had heard (another lie), that even if she had eavesdropped and could remember what she had heard, she would never reveal any secret unless it was a life or death circumstance (that was a truth). It didn’t matter. Nothing that she could say or do could make people change their minds. They still looked at her with suspicion, kept quiet when she was around, and walk away with lame excuses.
