"I know," Castiel murmurs, still just smiling a little, not looking heartbroken at all. "Don't worry about it, Dean, that's all I ask."
"So we're—" Dean risks a glance up, swallowing thickly. "We're good?"

Jace snorts. "I'm sure I will. Something about you makes me think all your plans are terrible. Where are we going?"
"You'll see," Simon tells him, throwing him a glance over his shoulder as he walks towards the door.
The three hot fairies waiting for him call out his name, but Jace ignores them and follows after Simon without looking back.

Summary
A slightly disorganized little fic inspired by the gorgeous stills of Eddie standing by the Día de Muertos parade.

“Oh, that’s not mine, that’s Buck’s spice cabinet.”
Pepa kept her reaction to herself, but she was thinking so loud Eddie could hear her thoughts. Buck has his own spice cabinet?
“He cooks for us sometimes,” he said, waving his hands as if that explained everything.
Pepa turned from the open cabinet, eyes still aglow. “Our Evancito is a special friend, isn’t he?”
Eddie didn’t reply right away. He took a few strides forward to Buck’s spice cabinet. He reached up and grabbed the chili powder down for Pepa. He looked at the mountain of spices with a sudden hit of fondness. With each breath in, he breathed in a different spice that invariably reminded him of a different meal Buck had cooked for him and Christopher over the last 6 months and beyond. Barbacoa, butter chicken, empanadas. Eddie took one final breath–chicken adobo–and allowed the cabinet to softly shut.
