"It's a temperamental beast with a mind of its own, and it doesn't help that the instructions are in Italian." 'Sounds like another temperamental beast I know', he thinks at the hyde who has gone quiet and focused.
The petite girl walks towards him and snatches the manual from his hands, scanning over the pages quickly and then looking at the machine. This close he can smell her despite the coffee scent everywhere.'Delicious.'
'Yes–wait, what? No, you can’t eat her just because she smells great!'
'I don’t want to eat her per se, just a little bite.'
'No! Calm down.'
Her smell saturates the space around him with a very distinctly musky and feminine scent along with a faint scent of aniseed. He finds it completely distracting.
