Midoriya Izuku gave up his dream of becoming a hero a long time ago, and not long after, realized how corrupted society was. In a world where quirks were the basis of everything, he didn't stand a chance, instead opting to provide for his mom and live a normal life.
Now, if only everybody would stop pestering him to be a hero!

Toshiyuki falters mid-step but then soldiers on.
“Dekiru!” They call as soon as they’re within microphone range. “Maesaka Toshiyuki from NHK, can I have your thoughts on the villain Spot’s latest arson attack?”

Summary
Shōta slumps his way out of bed, the top sheet draped over his head and clutched together underneath his chin, and drags himself to the kitchen.
“Stop,” Shōta mutters as he does his best to avoid Bastard and Trash as they wind around his ankles, “I coulda dropped my croissant.”
Shōta pauses for a split second, something about that sentence not sitting right with him, before he shrugs and continues to ooze his way towards the fresh cup of coffee he knows Hizashi will have waiting for him.

“You’re sure?” Hizashi can’t help but ask again.
“Absolutely,” Chiyo says, tapping her stylus against her tablet’s screen. “I cross-checked with Tsukauchi myself. The quirk’s effects will wear off, but it’ll be at least twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Until then, well, I suppose we will all just have to brace ourselves.”
Brace themselves?
Hizashi lets out a peal of too loud, nervous laughter.
Still, twenty-four to forty-eight hours of a Shōta unable to filter his thoughts? Saying and doing what he truly feels instead of suppressing it?
Hizashi doesn’t think bracing themselves is going to be enough.

“As a,” Izumi swallows harshly, eyes darting between Hitoshi standing beside her and Shouto who’s still practically looming over her, “like as a-a date? With both of you?”
“Yes,” Shouto actually speaks up then. “A date, with both of us.”
“Say yes,” someone, Izumi thinks it might be Hagakure, hisses in the background.
“O-Okay,” Izumi bites down sharply on her lower lip, hands coming up to tug at the hem of her sweater. “I-I’d like that.”
