Summary
Assigned as the resident Sage at Castrum Kremnos for a year, Anaxa’s duty is to tend the great tree bestowed by Cerces to the City of Might, in hopes of slowing the current Strife Titan, God-King Mydeimos’, descent into madness. Anaxa goes to perform a routine check on the garden, only to happen upon the god-king fresh off the battlefield, on the verge of losing control.
“Your Majesty.” Given the dire circumstances, Anaxa keeps his greeting perfunctory, his tone calm. “What should I do?”

Now, though. Now, Okkotsu’s teeth are bared, his eyes dark, all color lost as he grips his limp Guide, practically snarling. His power is heavy in the air, almost a physical weight, and the other Espers have fallen back so as not to antagonize him. In theory, a Guide should be able to get to him and shut him down, if he is not completely feral, but Toge is not so sure. He’s closer than the others at this point and can see what they cannot.
Orimoto Rika is dead.
