Summary
It had been a few months since Lumine first ever embarked on the astral express in search of a place to belong, and it had been almost anything but easy. However, that didn’t mean she didn’t like it on the express, after all, it was the only place where she had family left ever since the ultimate demise of her brother on Teyvat, as well as the strange loss of her powers.
No matter the challenges she went through, she carried on via the trailblaze.
Rover, too, had joined the express in search of a place to go. Although she was definitely a newer member, only having joined about a few weeks ago. A stellaron burst on Solaris III caused a huge TD outbreak across the entire planet, making it unlivable.
Rover, being the only found survivor, carried on through the express.

On a dangerous mission, Rover takes a huge hit for Lumine, resulting in near death.

When a piglet is born, their needle teeth are cut from their mouths. Keeping them in would cause damage to the sow whenever the piglet nurses, those sharp black teeth unintentionally tearing the flesh of her belly raw. Cut them, clip them, grind them down, because it’s better in the long run.
Pomni’s needle teeth were never cut. They still sit in her mouth, primed for blood. Teeth-first, teeth-foremost.
Pomni is touch-starved.
She is also terrified of being touched.

“Alright,” Jax says, breaking the peace that had finally descended upon all of them. “I’m bored.”
“You can never just keep your mouth shut, can you?” Zooble grumbles, earning a mischievous grin from Jax.
Not wanting a fight to break out, Gangle says, “I think we saw some board games in one of the storage closets in here.”
“Great!” Jax says. “Pomni, go get them.”
Pomni looks at him. “Huh? Why do I have to get them?”
“Because I said so. Now, chop, chop, jester!”
Pomni grits her teeth, but she also doesn’t want an argument to explode to life when they had been having a rather nice evening, so she swallows her annoyance and stands up. She does her best to ignore the way Jax says, “That’s what I thought,” on her way out.
In which Caine stuffs the gang into a cabin in the woods to bond, and everything goes horribly wrong.
