Summary
Based on some ideas an anon that approached KageSora provided.
Twin Doppelgängers live in the woods away from society until enough occurrences of death happen to pique the interest of a scientist and his partner. Finding the culprit behind the sudden decrease of the towns people count proves to be a hard feat, and after finding them it proves to be harder to remember not to part from them.Not until they can find a way to undo the twins' curse at least.

A'veri wants to learn the answer to his dreams' meaning but also feels delving too deep into questioning will face him with a bucket full of Self Identity issues and he knows that's the last thing the Scions want him having. Doesn't help that he has his doubts on the path he's walking despite his promise to pick a better path to Ardbert.

By the time those words were uttered, it was already too late.
Zelda kept a wary eye on the half-eaten apple that he had set back down on his bedside writing desk. He seemed oblivious to the twisted symbolism of it all. Forbidden fruit. The poisoned apples of the fairytales that they read as children.
Could he really be so blind?
The people rejoiced in the streets of Castle Town. They made gracious offerings in the plowing fields of the southern provinces, nestled against the far stretches of Faron Woods. The Kingdom of Hyrule celebrated the newfound peace after the plight of the Twili, and the final death of Ganondorf. They looked to the skies and they saw a god.
He became a vessel for their torment. He grieved for them. He carried their burden on his shoulders.
The weight of that weapon, of which had singed its mark deeply into the palm of his hand, would never leave him. The hushed voices of the scorned spirits resonated within the blade, their whispers lilting and lamenting in his ears.

Danny didn’t have a lot to his name. He arrived in Gotham 2 years ago lost and confused. He knew he was a king. He knew he was a halfa, and he knew that he ruled all of the infinite realms. But the harsh realities of Gotham also kept him on his toes as he tries to ignore his past. Nothing from before the age of 14 but electricity down his spine, A sister whom he loved, and an apparent complaint of his newfound lack of Empathy because of it.
Danny had avoided the infamous Bats for too long but as the ghosts start to delve into the world once more moaning for the Phantom, and a family edging on being a gang. He finds himself far too close to the vigillante’s and Batman than he really wants to find himself.
And as his world collapses in on itself, maybe he needs someone to catch him for once. Someone he never expected.
