Summary
There was only one conclusion: an Aedric artifact had been found, used extensively, and lost to the Psijics of all people. The Stormcloaks swarmed from the College's gates to the Karth searching for something, anything to blame for the 'tragedy' - and the Legion let them. No doubt the locals were working themselves into a frenzy of Wild Hunt proportions. An untold number of Thalmor operatives were dead as those responsible talked in circles around their mistake.
The part Rulindil found hardest to swallow was that Master Malcior's wife - High Kinlord Vicarian's daughter - was one of the casualties.

Summary
After learning of the disaster that was the Eye of Magnus at the College of Winterhold, the Thalmor Council sent eight Conservators to retrieve the mer responsible: Ambassador Ancano, Muril, and Amuril Malcior. They intend to make an example of these three would-be warmongers, but there's just one small, minor, tiny complication in the Thalmor's plans. One they're not aware of.
Amuril is the Last Dragonborn's husband.

And Amuril Malcior is tired, so tired...
He joined the Thalmor so he could save someone - anyone - and atone to himself for being the only survivor of Rhuusa Gau. He spares those he can from the Thalmor's dungeons in Imperial City, but there are always more brought in by the other Justiciars, and he has to believe his work means something: that's the only way he can stay sane. His secret life is threatened when one of the Thalmor inquisitors learns what he's been doing when no one's watching, but maybe...
Maybe if he can save her, it will be enough.

Summary
Skyrim is being torn apart, by the war between the Stormcloak rebels and the Imperial Legion, and now by the dragons brought back to life. In the absence of the Dragonborn's guidance, the Blades set out to at least rid Skyrim of its dragon problem. In the Rift, Tyraun Ice-Hammer and his daughter Brenda walk the razor's edge between serving Riften (and the Stormcloaks) and fighting for the Empire they swore oaths to protect.
In all the madness, without Irowe and Amuril to guide him, Fallon has to find his own way and decide which broken dreams are worth saving.

Summary
The Aldmeri Dominion is in danger of falling apart at the hands of Estre, with Firsthold bearing the brunt of her and Mehrunes Dagon's rage. On the near opposite side of the Summerset Isles, several members of an Aldmeri noble family inquire about joining the fight as Eyes of the Queen. Suspicious, Razum-dar tasks one of his most trusted Eyes to look into this family and their motives.
Those were the circumstances that brought Karim-dar to Ceynensel, ancestral estate of the Vicarians. It would be several weeks before anyone learned why he never came back.

The Great War came to Valenwood in the form of Altmer searching for fresh blood for the front. Faroldras was one of the ones taken, but unlike most of the other Bosmer, he left to protect his son.
While in Cyrodiil he wrote a song and sang it everywhere he went, hoping that it would reach his son back in Valenwood if he couldn't.
