The only student who shows up is Hermione Granger - what could possibly go wrong?
5 chapters, 1k words each, borderline-crack, and as happy of an ending as you can get when one of the characters is already dead. Featuring an unhinged and horny ghost Bellatrix, and a snarky, you-don't-scare-me-you're-dead Hermione.

Bellatrix is just inside the doorway, all sharp edged femme—long legs, dangerously tall heels, and black curls draped over devistating, sanity ruining, bare collarbones.
The dress is a deep emerald—because of course it is—clinging tight till the skirt flares out, a somewhat daring off the shoulder neckline. She couldn’t look the part of the mysterious, beautiful, unspeakably dangerous client more if she'd been leaning on Hermione’s desk, smoking, wearing a hat with a black veil just over her eyes.
“What—” Hermione shakes her head to try to clear it. “What are you doing here Black?”
“Well Granger,” she leans back against the inside of the doorway. “I think someone is trying to kill me.”

Hermione is happy, or at least largely content, in her job as Wizarding Britain's Premier (read: only) PI. Or, was before a “redeemed” Bellatrix Black showed up at her office.
It's fine. She can stay professional, even if it is the witch who tortured her. It's not like it's her first case—She'll just keep her distance, figure out what's going on, and collect the (hopefully) huge payday. She'll manage.
At a minimum, she's had worse plans.

Hermione had given up trying to keep up; she bit through the pain and kept her own slow, steady pace. Ahead the group ran into the aisle, none of them even looking back to see if Hermione was still with them.
She felt rather than heard the body slide up to her, and in one swift motion her wand was taken from her. Someone whispered, from so close she could feel the breath caressing her ear, “Muddy, what's with the slow walk? Don't you want to be with your friends when they get caught?”
Hermione huffed, bitter and exhausted, “Well, if my friends,” the word laced with venom, “would ever listen, we'd not be here at all. And if they ever thought about my walking speed we'd indeed be together.”

Summary
After Caitlyn turns on her Vi doesn't know where to go. She finds herself struggling to come to terms with the scope of the damage Caityln (and by joining her, Vi's) actions have caused to Zaun. She shouldn't be surprised when she keeps crossing paths with Sevika. After all the woman has witnessed every other one of Vi's failures why wouldn't she be here now, her presence taunting Vi as she grapples with finding her place in a city and amongst a people she turned her back on. As Vi struggles to earn forgiveness and prepares for the looming war against Piltover, Sevika's looming presence starts to weigh on her. Before she realizes it the feelings she thought were behind are causing a distraction and it doesn't help that Sevika won't leave her alone.
