Kai groaned, where in the world was he? These woods didn’t seem to match anywhere in ninjago he had seen before, and he couldn’t get his phone or communicator to work. Given the communicators had a limited range, and there was only so much service you could get in the forest, but, well, the rest of the ninja were like a family to him, and Kai had found comfort in simply being able to talk to his friends, his family, whenever he could.

In an instant Zelda was at the window. It didn’t take more than a second for her to realize the blazing light that was shooting across the sky. Zelda ran outside to get a better look. Zelda watched in awe as the light soured right over castle town, washing the city in a bright light, before crashing just outside the wall.
Before Link could stop her Zelda began running towards the outside of the city, she was slightly tipsy from the drinks she had earlier, so if she was sober, she probably would’ve not run out here like this.

Ok, so, saying that landing wasn’t the smoothest was one hell of an understatement. “Fuck” Samus groaned, pushing herself to her feet. Smoke was filling the main cabin at an alarming rate, so she didn’t have time to run a diagnostic on the damage, she just needed to get out. Samus had to kick the open button on the door for it to actually open, and even then, her ship shook violently. She would need to call for help when she got the chance.
