Simon died. Eaten and consumed by the Blood Eel. Not until he wakes up in a place called Erid where sentient rocks live and a guy who can’t seem to wear his glasses the right way.
OR
Simon gets thrown into Project Hail Mary because he deserves to be taken care of after the ending in Iron Lung. (basically, in other words. Simon and Grace act stupid, made everyone in Erid their spectators of their stupidity)
