“Viktor?”
His heart jumps. Silco’s voice is muffled, sleep-thick, but oh so achingly familiar. He had not realised until now just how much he missed it.
“You do realise it is 2 o’clock in the morning?”
He tries to speak but no words come out. The guilt, perhaps, has stolen them.
“Has something happened?”
“Papa,” he finally whispers. “Papa. Papa.” And then all of a sudden he is bawling his eyes out, horrible, heaving gasps and sobs torn from his throat, wracking his thin frame, and distantly he is embarrassed, but he cannot seem to make himself stop.
Worn down by the crushing weight of (not actually) unrequited love, workplace disputes, past trauma, and the existential dread that comes with being an overachiever in your twenties, Viktor finally breaks. Papa Silco comes to pick up the pieces.
Returning to his childhood home in Zaun for a long-overdue rest, Viktor must reckon with his past, his future, and the terrifying prospect of allowing himself to be loved and cared for.

“Mr. Talis, bored already?” Viktor asked, his tone dry but laced with the faintest trace of amusement.
Jayce grabbed a chair from the back with an ear-splitting scrape of metal on tile, the sound grating against Viktor’s nerves. Viktor visibly flinched, cringing at the noise. The class burst into laughter at the reaction, while Jayce offered a sheepish grin, clearly unapologetic. He flopped into the chair, sprawling in a lazy posture that made it seem like he belonged here.
“Had a free period,” Jayce said with a shrug, his voice light and breezy. He propped his head on his hand, his grin widening. “And I’m always fascinated by science.”--

Difficulty : 1.5This is the kind of professor that makes you want to come to class. The material is well-explained, and I did not meet a single person that didn't pass his class. Moreover, Professor Talis is BEAUTIFUL.
The only complaint I have is his weird mood swings.
One day, he went to class with sad puppy eyes, head down, and dropped dramatically on his chair. He gave us some papers and told us to "do whatever" because he had a fight with his partner and was not in the mood. Maybe his wife threatened to leave without him. That's the only evident answer to him banging his head on his desk with tears in his eyes.
He was fine the next day tho.
Love him.

Summary
Wedding bells are in the air with the date of her wedding approaching, and Jiang Yanli is helping to make preparations around Lotus Pier for her coming departure. Her primary concern is Jiang Cheng, who works himself to the bone and rarely allows himself a moment to breathe, let alone have a decent meal. She worries for him, about who will get him to eat when she's living in Lanling and who will remind him that there's a life outside of work.
On a whim, she decides to invite Nie Huaisang to visit for the last few weeks before the wedding. Hopefully his presence will help her brother relax, or at the very least, Nie Huaisang can distract Jiang Cheng so that she can get some work done!
But when the young man arrives and her brother actually *smiles*, she thinks she sees something else between them. Could it be that her brother is genuinely attracted to Nie Huaisang, who is so obviously infatuated with him, or is she so in love that she sees romance everywhere? To find out, she'll give them a few little nudges to see what happens.
