“Whoops!” A towel was pressed against his face, which Shen Jiu instantly snatched.
“I can wash my hair myself,” he said, glaring back at Cheong Myeong. “In fact, I’d much prefer it.”

Summary
The man that used to be Airplane Shooting Toward The Sky wakes in the middle of a meeting with a bunch of Xianxia looking types. A quick glance at his hands shows that he’s expertly holding a writing brush. In front of him is traditional ink in an inkstone.
His hands are bigger than they used to be, and turning them over, Airplane finds strange calluses. Neatly trimmed nails (Airplane is a nail biter) make him shake his head.
“Does Shang Shidi have something to add?” Someone says from across the table.
Airplane looks around, waiting for Shang Shidi to answer. After a moment, it occurs to him that Shang shidi… might possibly be…him. Airplane is starting to get a baaad feeling, okay?

Shen Qingqiu rolled his eyes. His vision swam, spinning in a rush of bright colors and hazy shapes. He started to tip backwards, no longer certain where the floor was. A laugh bubbled out of his chest as his weight slipped further and his stomach swooped. Liu Qingge jolted, hands wrapping around Shen Qingqiu's waist. They were so warm. The heat seeped through his robes in a way that made Shen Qingqiu shiver.
"Shen Qing—"
Shen Qingqiu whipped his hands up to cover Liu Qingge's mouth. "Shhhhhh. Thats not right. You're supposed to say shixiong, ok? Shixiong."

Summary

"It's not laziness! This disciple swears to work hard!" Luo Binghe looked up, hoping his face would prove his sincerity. "Bai Zhan is just- it's just- it's full of brutes!"

His captor was likely a demonic creature similar to a skinner, one capable of taking on another's appearance even without skinning their victim. It seemed like their ability had no mental component to it, though, hinging entirely on the being's own acting skills.
Shen Jiu settled a bit more comfortably on his heels, rolling his shoulders to ease the strain of having his hands tied up.
He wondered if the creature had ever considered the rumours that were spread about Shen Jiu might not be entirely true. And that, were he to act according to what people said about him, it would be pretty jarring compared to his regular conduct.
Ah, well. Not his problem.

“At least you’re smarter than Qi-ge,” Shen Jiu muttered under his breath, fully intending to leave and forget he ever saw Cho Sam again. If the man wanted to cut the ties, Shen Jiu should honour his choice-
But it seemed less like a deliberate snub and more like genuine forgetfulness when Cho Sam snapped to attention.
“No way!” He bounced up to him with a wide, unhinged grin. Definitely Cho Sam. “Xiao Jiu?”
Instantly incensed, Shen Jiu slammed his fan on top of Cho Sam’s head. “Who are you calling Xiao, huh?! I’m older than you!”
Cho Sam stuck his tongue out at him, deftly avoiding the strike. “But I’ve got the higher number!”
