“May I ask what does Your Highness mean with… being otherwise involved?”

Oberyn sends him a look that makes Loras’s knees go weak. “Well, Ellaria met this one girl in the harbour the other day. Commanding an Ironborn warship or something like that. And they… did like each other.” He shrugs. “She isn’t really the kind of woman I fancy, but as I said, we don’t begrudge each other the occasional straying. Unless we both like them, of course.”

“Of course,” Loras replies. “Which means that she… won’t be here?”

“No,” Oberyn replies, “most likely for a couple of days. Are you asking just out of curiosity?”

“Maybe,” Loras answers, his throat feeling still fucking dry, “it’s not curiosity. But… I think Your Highness should like to stray with me, or have I understood wrong?”

Or: in which Oberyn doesn't lose his duel and Loras goes to Dorne instead of staying in King's Landing.

“I always thought you were pretty.”

“I thought you were mocking me,” Jon says, trying to regain his footing, “And that you thought I was an idiot.”

“I was mocking you. And I do think you’re an idiot.” Tormund sets down his cup and takes a step closer. “Now, can I take you to bed?”

    Summary

The building begins to fall around Robin at a violent pace. He’s gripping the silver bar tightly now. It won’t be long. The floor is shaking, the roof is falling, and he thinks of that happy place of his, that memory, and then he desperately whispers the words engraved on the bar—

Nothingness. For an instant, there is absolute nothingness.

    And then—

Robin opens his eyes. For a moment, he wonders if he’s made it to the afterlife. He’s on that hill again, and next to him is the picnic basket. He could smell the cheese laid out next to the chocolate that he and Ramy had spent too much of their money on. His eyes begin to water at the sight.

    “Birdie?”

    ---

Before Robin dies in the collapse of Babel, he gets a second chance to do it all over again. He’s not going to waste it.

    “-why am I here?”
    “Keep flipping.”
Luke turns another page of the old book.
“That’s Aurebesh. If you didn’t have a habit of killing everyone who can read it, you wouldn’t need me.”
“Now, Luke. Most of those deaths were accidental. And I’d rather have you working with us than against us.”
“Got a key? You wouldn’t let on to me that you had this if not.”
Krennic grins, and pulls a pendant out of his shirt. The blue crystal glints in the low light.
    Luke whistles.
    “Can I see?”
    “No funny business”
    “Who? Me?”
Luke picks up a loupe and holds the crystal up to the lens; Aurebesh glimmers inside the facets.
    Krennic leans over the table.
    “So. You in?”
