Will tilts his head.
“What about me?”
“What, um, creature would you want to encounter, hm?”
Will looks ethereal from Mike’s angle, he wants WIll to be above him forever. Will’s eyes take on a shine that twinkles down at Mike.
“Vampires.”
Mike’s mouth feels like a desert. Holy fuck.
Mike swallows thickly (Will watches) and looks at him with wide eyes. Will’s attention lies on the lipstick tube that he’s now rolling up, he glances up once. Mike manages to get one word out “...really?” Will smiles and shakes his head.
“Oh yeah– I would totally let a pretty one bite me.”

Summary
"There has gotta be a better way to do this. That was awful," Mike said, turning to Will, voice hoarse and deeper than usual. Will continued rubbing Mike's back as he thought about Mike's words.
Will did know of a better way, but he was certain they shouldn't do it.
"Will?" Mike began, eyes flitting between Will's, causing Will's eyes to snap to his. "What? Is there actually a better way?"
Will hesitated at the inquiry. "Yeah- Yeah, sorry, but we can't do it."
"Why not?" Mike asked, looking confused, keeping his eyes locked onto Will's.
Will averted his eyes. "It might be too weird. It's kinda… intimate?" Will said, making it sound almost like a question.
Mike nodded thoughtfully, thinking about it for a moment before saying, "We can do it anyway, if you want. I don't mind. I trust you, Will."

I wrote this at like 3:00am based on a dream I had. So.
.Mike was touchy, it was just in his nature.
Maybe that's why, when Mike reached out, hands cupping his own, leaning in close, a murmur of “I miss you, Will. I miss us,” all Will did was squeeze back, the way he always had.
It started off the same as always, something unintentional that Will could brush off, accident touches that slowly grew into something friendly, platonic, normal. The occasional nudge of an elbow to his side, a long look and a hand reaching out to grip his shoulder. Simple. Friendly.
But now?
Now Mike couldn't seem to be able to keep his hands off of him.
It was driving Will crazy.
