Summary
Elijah and David aren’t exactly friends, far from it, but when Elijah heard David was sick, he couldn’t just ignore it. Like, yeah, David skips school all the time, so it’s not like anyone expected him to show up. But when one of Elijah’s friends mentioned he was actually sick, something weird twisted in Elijah’s chest.
So, he did the last thing he’d ever expect himself to do: he grabbed some stuff to help David feel better and headed to his house. Seeing David all worn out and miserable? That didn’t sit right with him. Elijah wasn’t about to admit it, and maybe enemies weren’t supposed to care… and yet, here he was.
Both characters are 18 in senior year of high school.
